Intro to Ag ScienceIntro to Ag Science is offered to first year Ag students as an introduction to the Ag program. The course including, learning about large and small animals, the history and inner workings of agriculture, and FFA activities.
Ag BiologyAg Biology is for second year ag students or advanced first year ag students. The course covers the topics of plant and animal biology and genetics.
Vet ScienceVet science focuses on the anatomy and physiology of animals especially focusing on their use in agriculture. Students learn about animal nutrition, handling, and control of parasites.
7th Grade Intro to Agriculture
7th Grade Intro to Agriculture provides an introduction into the 8 major Ag pathways and an intro into FFA and the ability to participate in some FFA competitions and earn the discovery degree |
Intro to Ag MechanicsAg Mechanics teaches students basic machinery and fabrication skills. Students receive extensive teach on machine is the shop, and then a hands on experience with the machinery. Students are also provided with basic introductory welding skills.
Welding IStudents in Welding 1 get a hands on experience in the welding field learning all the different kinds of welds and how to implement them.
ROP WeldingROP Welding is a two period welding class for advanced students. They work to expand their welding knowledge and experience with arc welding, MIG, and TIG welding.
ROP Advanced Mechanics is a two period ROP class focusing on the use and repair of farm power machinery.

Ag LeadershipAg Leadership is for students looking for new ways to be involved in the Sierra chapter. Students in this class work with the officers to plan and improve our chapter activities. Students also use a personal development and career success textbook to discover leadership styles and how to implement them.
