At Sierra High School, the Ag classes are about much more than fairs and farms. Through agricultural education, students are provided opportunities for leadership development, personal growth, and career success. Agricultural education instruction is delivered through three major components:
1) Classroom/laboratory instruction - contextual learning through classes such as Ag Biology, ROP Welding, ROP Heavy Machinery, Vet Science, Intro to Ag Science, and more
2) Supervised Agricultural Experience programs - work-based learning experience is categorized into 4 different areas: Entrepreneurship, Placement, Research and Experimentation, and Exploratory
