Hey there Sierra FFA! My name is Paige Beard and I’m your 2023-2024 Chapter President! This year I will be a Junior at Sierra High School where I have been involved in FFA for four years. I hope that in leading our chapter I can increase membership and involvement! I would love to help break the ice and encourage others with all the fun you can experience and wonderful memories you can create! Before becoming involved in Sierra FFA I was very shy and it was hard for me to come out of my shell. I now have built many relationships in and out of our chapter and can’t wait for even more! Inside our chapter I have participated in Creed, Job Interview, Opening and Closing, as well as our Livestock Judging Team. I also am extremely into showing market and production lambs at county fairs along with traveling all around the state to take part in multiple jackpot shows. Some of my hobbies outside of my jacket are riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, camping, volleyball, and hanging out with friends and family. I enjoy doing anything outdoors! I strive to help everyone get involved and unlock their potential in the future of agriculture. I am extremely grateful for all that I have gained while being a part of Sierra FFA and I’m looking forward to an amazing year! I can't wait to see how you can Forge Your Future!
Ariana Rodriguez Vice President
HEY HEY HEY Sierra FFA!! Are we ready to Forge our Future!? I’m Ariana Rodriguez and I’m serving this year's Chapter Vice-President. I am super stoked to serve our chapter again this year! I am a junior in highschool this year, this will be my fourth year in FFA. This year I competed in Opening & Closing, where I received outstanding President, Vet Science, and the San Joaquin Region’s First Ever Spanish Creed Speaking Contest, receiving Second Place in the region! I also love anything coffee (so Starbucks runs are a must), nature, and Legos! Slightly on the nerdy side, but outside of the books you can find me in my jacket, in MOB crowds, snowboarding, on the lake, or on the soccer field! This year I will be taking on a new SAE project and selling custom merch from my small business, Dry Creek Oaks! I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for our chapter and I look forward to growing closer with our members as well as empowering them! I hope to inspire others to participate more and always, always strive for greatness in whatever task it may be! Catch y’all later!!

Zowey Witt Treasurer
Hi everyone! I’m Zowey Witt and I am your 2023 - 2024 FFA Chapter Treasurer. I’ve been in FFA for five years, and I’m a senior at Sierra High School. Throughout high school I’ve juggled FFA and soccer, both of them being a huge part of my life and helping me grow as a person. In FFA I show market swine, participate in opening and closing, and attend every FFA activity I possibly can. Outside of FFA, I love to spend time with my family and friends, and spending my free time outside, like going hiking, fishing, camping, and playing sports. This year as an FFA chapter officer my goals are to get more people involved, let others know that there is more to FFA than just showing livestock, to help our chapter grow, and I personally would like to get more involved in the public speaking portion of FFA. I am extremely excited to get more people into FFA and involve younger members, I am also excited to help our chapter expand in involvement and fun. I am thankful for the opportunity to be a new officer this year, and for all the friends and experiences I have gained throughout my years in the chapter. This year, let’s see how Sierra FFA and its members can forge its future.
Mya Woodward Reporter
HEY SIERRA FFA! My name is Mya Woodward, and I am serving as your 2023-2024 chapter Reporter. This year, I will be a sophomore at Sierra, and will be my third year involved in FFA. In my three years, I've taken part in a number of competitions and activities, such as Parliamentary Procedure, Creed Speaking, the BIG team, GLC and attending State Convention. My favorite competition is Parliamentary Procedure, which helped me find my love for FFA, and helped me to come out of my shell by participating in more public speaking, and as a person! In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking and playing some instruments! My SAE project is volunteering with Sierra Foothill Conservancy, which is a local land trust, conserving over 50,000 acres of land! There, I make education material, assist with hikes, and promote the goal of preserving our ecological corridors. Working with them has piqued my interest in natural resources and local plants and animals in the area, and I would like to learn more. This year, I plan on competing in the Natural Resources contest to further my knowledge. I am BEYOND excited to get deeper into FFA by being an officer this year, and I am so excited to see others get involved and Forge Your Future!

I do not do all that much outside of FFA other than working on my breeding cattle, camping, and playing games with my friends and family. I can't wait to spend this year getting to know as many people as possible and helping you Forge Your Future!
