This year sheep, swine, and beef were all brought to fair and the members had great amounts of success in their market, feeder, and showmanship classes. The sheep team included Ray Baker, Averi Harrington, Rebecca Moore, Lilly Sellers, and Sydney Wyman. Ray Baker placed 2nd in his class of Speckled Faced Lambs. Averi Harrington won Champion Southdown in market and Reserve Champion Southdown, along with 5th in the showmanship finals. Lily Sellers placed 1st in her Crossbred market class. Rebecca Moore placed 2nd in her crossbred market class. Sydney Wyman won Reserve Supreme Champion, Champion Hampshire, and Champion bred by exhibitor for her market lambs, 1st place in Senior FFA showmanship, 1st place Round Robin, and 1st and 2nd place with her ewe lambs. Our swine team consisted of Haven Capriotti, Ally Condley, Brandi Hickingbottom, Lexi Kirkpatrick, Makayla McGrath, AnnJolina Periscone, Ann Price, Micahla Riemath, Jocelynn Rodriguez, Hannah Thomason, Emma Turner, and Nickole Witt. Haven Capriotti won Champion Hampshire. Ally Condley showed in a feeder class. Brandi Hickingbottom competed in a showmanship class. Lexi Kirkpatrick received market ready recognition. Makayla McGrath won 3rd in her market class and 2nd in her breeding class. AnnJolina Periscone won 2nd in her Blue Butt class and 1st in her Dark Hampshire class. Ann Price won 4th in her market class. Jocelynn Rodriguez 2nd in her Duroc class and 4th in her Hampshire class. Hannah Thomason won 1st in her market class. Emma Turner won 2nd in her showmanship class. Nickole Witt won 10th freshman/sophomore showmanship. The beef team was composed of Sienna Blair, Rile Blasingame, Makenna Boul, Justin Coburn, Noah Heirendt, Russell Judd, Nate Killian, Taryn Lodge, James Lujano, Hannah Thomason, and Ryan Wright. Sienna Blair won 2nd in her market class. Rile Blasingame won 1st in his market class. Makenna Boul received 3rd in her market class. Justin Coburn won Reserve Champion for his feeder steer and placed 4th his market class. Noah Heirendt won 4th in his market class. Russell Judd got 1st in showmanship class. James Lujano showed Nate Killian’s steer and won 1st in that market class. Taryn Lodge won 3rd place in her feeder class. James Lujano won 3rd in his feeder class. Hannah Thomason placed 4th in her feeder class. Ryan Wright was awarded 6th in her market class. It was another great year at Fresno Fair and these showman and women did an amazing job showing their skills and demonstrating everything they have learned this year.
